A few lines about myself:
I am Danish living in Denmark with my girlfriend (Ruthumzz, Shadow Priest on RC as well) she is still playing on the alliance side but I do hope she will come join me on the horde side in a short time (she is levelling a Blood Elf Death Knight as I write this). I currently have no commitments other than school which is not a problem for interfering with raids. I am going to become a programmer since everything I care about is computers and I spend pretty much my entire day at this machine.

Why me?
Yea why me? I am applying as druid even though I have played a mage most of my wow time but I grew a little tired of my mage after playing one for 4 years.
So I did a reroll into my current char Kontz; feral druid tank. I see myself as a good player and I have been raiding in Infinity as the guildmaster there on the Alliance side for 3 years before the guild went down and I haven’t found a place I could call home since then. But since I have been a raidleader I always read up on the tacks before raid so I know every part of the encounter I am about to fight. I do know everything there is to know about my class and I am into theory crafting a great deal so I hope people are ready to throw a few theories my way I can blow into pieces :P

I am just looking for a place that I can call home as a raider. For once in my wow time my main priority is to just raid and give it my best and be part of the best in progression, relax and have fun raiding. I haven’t had fun doing what I am doing for a long time. I have raid led every single raid for 3 years and I am just burned out and I really wish just to be a raider and I hope Smart Casuals will give me the chance to show what I can do.


Previous Guild(s) & Previous PVE-experience:
Vanilla WoW:
I started my own guild here on Ravencrest called Reborn although I don’t know if anyone will remember this guild. I raid-led the guild though molten core and BWL, but back in those days there wasn’t so many tactics to take care of; mostly just tank and spank. However we got though the content very quickly. When AQ40 was released, we ran into a few problems but we killed everything all the way up to C’thun and we also managed to down 8 bosses in Naxx just before the release of TBC. The time in Reborn was awesome however there ended up being just too many emo people and loot whores so it was hard to keep the guild together and it went down just before TBC and I thought now is the time to build up something new and so to follow:
TBC:
Just in the start of TBC I created the guild Infinity from the ashes of Aloria. Infinity was made by myself and a few friends and some family. Our aim was to play more hardcore; we raided 5 days a week when TBC came out and we did great. We cleared SSC and TK very fast without too much difficulty, but then we started to lose a lot of our hardcore and very good players, so we had to cut down on our raid days and started raiding 3 days a week and turned into a more casual-hardcore guild. But we got back on our feet and cleared Hyjal and Black Temple and cleared these instances also, well before the nerf patch. After Black Temple, we merged with Silence whos GM was Achiles. It was during this time that infinity hit its all-time high and we owned Sunwell. It was the best time of Infinity, I loved Sunwell because it was just great. And we got all encounters down! KJ also died before the nerf patch hit.
WotLK:
When wotLK hit we had a rather strong guild a lot of good friends and a strong core but Naxx kind of took the life out of the game and that place was really shit, as the constant farming and lack of challenge got to a lot of our good players, so we lost a lot of them due to real life during Naxx, but well I kept fighting and got the guild up and running again for Ulduar and we did fight our way through it on normal and all hardmodes but during that time I lost so many friends from Infinity and towards the end I barely knew anyone in my own guild anymore. ToC hit and we cleared everything up to twins on heroic and started working hard on Anub, but failed to kill him after 2 months of wipes on him. My previous guild before applying here was Sanctum on Alliance side where I raided for a little while but this guild is not home for me and really the only reason I joined this guild was because that was where the majority of old Infinity members had gone and I went there for some company and friendly faces in gchat. Now I want to start raiding seriously again and enjoy some good progression. In Icecrown on ten man I have cleared the entire instance including killing the Lich King. On 25 man I have killed all bosses up to the Lich King and I’m looking forward to doing some heroic hard modes on both 10 and 25 man soon!

I know this info isn’t really relevant as my mage is still on Alliance side but this is my old main character Ske.

Professions: Enchanting and tailoring;
I chose both of these professions for the buffs they provide to my DPS. I reroll professions whenever there is a patch which includes changes which would make one profession better for me than one I already have.

Spec:
My first and main spec is fire, for the nice ignite damage and living bomb and delivering scorches. When there is a need for it e.g. more than one mage I play Arcane as my second spec. Since arcane is way more single target dps whereas frost fire on the other hand beats everything on trash and other aoe encounters!

The above is a link to the old Infinity DKP site and as you can see all I have missed is a VoA, Onyxia and Toc normal on the same day since I had to travel to England, so I am a 100% raider unless something really comes up where I can’t help it, which is really not often.

I am using Quartz, Deadly bossmods, Recount, Pitbull, Grid, Classtimer, Bartender and Omen.
As you can see I like my UI smooth, simple, clean and easy on the eye

Basic Specs of my PC are:
Processor: 2.2 GHz AMD Turion X2 Dual-Core Mobile Processor RM-75 1 MB Level 2 cache
RAM: 4GB
Gfx Card: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650
Screen Size: 17”
It’s pretty much brand new and definitely does the job.

My connection is good, I dc extremely rarely and I have a wired connection to the router so it’s pretty good.
If I have left any information out please give me a heads up, I spent shit lots of time on this piece hehe even got my girlfriend to proof read it too 

Do you have a viable DPS spec and gear? Viable = not dead last every time.

My dps gear is Toc 25 Gear so not bad not good wont hit 10 k dps atleast
i have allways just relogged my mage if there was dps needed. but kinda dont have that option now .. but all in all my dps gear is fine i guess u dont expect a tank to out dmg anyone !
